主持人到印第安纳州的一座大型酪农场待上一整天，充分体验酪农场的各项工作。例如到挤乳室，清理母牛乳头上的粪草，揉捏乳头刺激乳汁，并检查生乳品质。酪农场将每天制造大量的牛粪善加利用，装入厌气消化槽制造沼气发电，使酪农场成为环保的绿色设施。不过厌气消化槽的减压器因为低温而故障，造成牛粪满溢外流，弄得到处脏兮兮。主持人得登上十五呎高空，在酷寒中以高压水柱冲洗大槽。然後他到繁殖室以人工方式用手伸入乳牛的臀部，注入筛选过的公牛精子。最後加入兽医的行列，体验血淋淋脏兮兮的母牛分娩过程，包括自然生产，人工拖曳及剖腹产术。

1953年4月25日，James Watson和Francis Crick发表了他们划时代的发现—DNA的双螺旋结构，传递“生命的秘密”的分子结构基础。但是他们突破性发现的关键有赖于另一位生物学家Rosalind Franklin的先驱工作。她绝不会知道Waston和Crick在没有得到她允许的情况下看到了她研究资料中至关重要的一张Ｘ射线衍射照片－“51号照片”，后来被证实是他们发现双螺旋结构中至关重要的线索。

50年后，PBS NOVA调查了这个伟大科学发现后令人震惊的幕后真相，给我们刻画了一个在男性占统治地位的科学领域中聪明绝伦的女性。然而，Franklin没有活到她的研究成果的重要性得到承认的那一天。当Watson和Crick1962年获得诺贝尔奖时，她已于1958年仅仅37岁时因卵巢癌而过世，而诺贝尔奖并不授予已过世者。

影片中Maurice Wilkins将告诉我们当年的真相，是她把51号照片提供给了Watson观看；Raymond Gosling，Franklin的博士生，是他和Franklin一起拍摄了51号照片；诺贝尔奖获得者Aaron Klug，Franklin生前最后一位合作者，他提供的新的证据表明了Franklin曾经是多么的接近独自发现DNA的双螺旋结构。

　D Minus 1

D Minus 1 explores the tense hours leading up to the monumental attack. The elaborate plans, the calculated risks and the sheer daring of the invasion are explored. The troops were heavily trained and armed with latest weaponry, but the fate of the war hung on one key strategy: surprise.

　H-Hour

H-Hour explores the earliest moments of the invasion when human error and poor weather seemed to conspire to doom the mission to failure. The fate of the war now hung on the cunning, courage and determination of each individual Allied soldier, sailor and airman.
