猎豹是世上速度最快的四肢动物，但跑不了多远就精疲力竭，所以每次出猎都仿佛置身刀锋。反观花豹就不同，它们采用的是守株待兔的策略，等猎物自动送上门。猎狗凭借的是人多势众的略策来猎捕大型猎物。小型蒙哥通常十几只住在一起，群中每个成员都有照顾小宝宝和守卫站岗等任务。
