"Burma's Forgotten Fleet" has aired worldwide. It is the history of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company, the largest inland transport fleet the world has ever known that navigated the rivers of Burma through the 19th and early 20th centuries. These large shallow draft steamers were built in Glasgow, Scotland, disassembled and shipped to Rangoon where they were reassembled, outfitted, and helped turn the country into one of the richest colonies in South East Asia.

This also covers when the Japanese invaded Burma in 1941, the British scuttled 100's of them to deny them to the Japanese. Today, many have these magnificent ships have been restored to their original glory. This is a wonderful story that begins in the 19th century during the glory days of the British Empire, and also gives you a look at the Burmese culture and scenery.
