剧情简介
安拉阿巴德位于恒河和亚穆纳河汇合处。原为古代印度教圣城，是阿育王柱所在地（竖立于公元前240年）。1194～1801年为穆斯林统治。16世纪末，蒙兀儿皇帝阿克巴在此建立一座堡垒。瓦拉纳西为世界上一直有人居住的最古老的城市之一。是印度教七圣城之一。有数座庙宇、宫殿和沐浴的石阶。每年有一百多万的朝圣者。瓦拉纳西以北的萨尔纳特为释迦牟尼第一次布教处。
