Egypt

Inspired by the religion of the Egyptians created the astonishing imagination of the building and sculpture.

Greece

The ancient Greeks created a civilization that gave birth to the culture of modern Europe. Amazing works of art were created for the glory of the inhabitants of heaven-Olympians.

Rome

In the Roman emperor State was one of many gods in Rome it was possible to find the sanctuary of Greek, Egyptian, Phoenician deities. When Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity, it became the dominant religion. Rome became a city of temples dedicated to the new god, and the burial place of the lost gods.

Maya

To the glory of their gods the Maya were building architectural masterpieces - the temples in the cities of Tikal, Palenque, Chichen Itza, and the sacrifices that were to convey to the gods of prayer. Neither prayer nor sacrifice did not save the ancient civilization. But today in the rituals Maya professing Christianity can be traced elements of their former religion.

Inca

The Incas created an empire equal to the largest Roman. They honored God the Creator, just as the sun, moon and stars. The gods of the Incas disappeared along with their empire, but were works of art and architecture.

The Celts

All the phenomena of nature for the Celts had a religious meaning. Their church was nature itself, and the Druids were their priests and judges. They united the tribes, performed secret rituals and sacrifices. Over time, beliefs that made up the Celtic religion and define their daily lives, have turned into stories and myths.
